Olivier Perrins “MANTIS” (F-35 Lightning II)

After destroying the initial five hostiles near the landing crafts at the start of the mission, turn left and fly towards the mass driver (launching ramp) to the northeast coast of the island. Make sure to slow down as you approach it and keep close to the ramp (the “pull up” warning should be blaring all throughout the attempt). Don’t accelerate while following the ramp; just maintain your minimum speed and carefully control your pitch. Aircraft with high stability will be able to help you perform this stunt easily. If you’re still having issues, equip the upgrade part that will improve your aircraft’s pitch stability.

After “launching” from the mass driver, continue ID’ing and destroying targets as fast as you can until the unidentified bogeys appear from the east. MANTIS is one of the unknown escorts and will be actively engaging you. It will help destroying the first line of bombers while also quickly dealing with the other escorts to lessen the number of targets you have to deal with. Since MANTIS is piloting an F-35C, expect its stealth to make it a bit longer to ID. Make sure to keep an eye on the bombers since the mission will fail if they reach the island.
