Outposts
Backyard Monsters Walkthrough and Guide
Outposts
An Outpost is similar to a Town Hall but is not as large and cannot be upgraded. If it is destroyed, you will lose 5% of your total resources. You will lose control of the Outpost itself (the Yard with the Outpost in it) if an enemy does 90% damage to the buildings within and chooses to take it over.
As a result, you should aim to fortify your Outpost as early as possible to remain as a stronghold against enemy attacks.
Requirements:
You can only get an Outpost once your Map Room has been upgraded to Level 2 - which reveals the World Map. The easiest way is to also upgrade your Flinger and Catapults to be able to reach a Wild Monster Tribe. If you destroy them, you will be able to purchase their Yard for a certain amount of resources. If it's another player's Yard, you must destroy 90% of their buildings first.
Relocating your Main Yard:
If your Main Yard is being too-regularly plundered, you can move it to one of your outposts. You have to give up your main Yard which will then become a Wild Monster Tribe. Another player (normally a friend) can also invite you to take over one of their outposts. You can only move your Main Yard once every 8 days.
