Mission 13 - Operation Magic Spear
Owen Corwin “COMET” (Mig-31B Foxhound)
You need to destroy the REAL missile silos quickly for this ace to appear. The real missile silos are marked in the image below. You can ignore the dummy silos and just focus on the main ones.
After destroying the five silos, a cutscene will trigger. Comet will appear as a lone blip to the west after the cutscene. He will attempt to flee westward so fly after him as fast as you can and shoot him down so you can still chase after the ICBM in flight. Two Missiles isn’t enough to take him down so make sure you’re firing your guns as well to avoid wasting precious seconds maneuvering for another attack against him.
