The Putty Squisher is used to collect Putty. This is useful for constructing buildings and unlocking monsters and new abilities. You need it to build all defensive buildings except for Blocks.

You are able to construct a total of six Putty Squishers in your Yard, and, as with other resource gatherers, four in each Outpost.
