What are Events?

These are specially themed activities that run for a limited duration and give you the opportunity to hunt animals in expeditions that cannot be found anywhere else in the game. Events usually last between 3-4 weeks and in order to play you need to buy access to them, doing so will result in a special, Limited Edition Assault Rifle and full access to a track of missions and the Trophy animal. Once an Event is over, they can no longer be accessed.

When do you get Energy Bonuses?

Energy bonuses are available between 12-2pm.

How do I get More Infrared?

Not all weapons come with Infrared. If you are finding that your weapon does not have enough Infrared to complete a mission, consider upgrading its duration in the Loadout.

Why can't I use my Weapon of Choice?

Certain situations prohibit the use of certain weapons which makes being ready to adapt at a moments notice vital.

How can I see My Purchased Weapons?

You can see the weapons you own through the Weapon Store or by pressing the Switch Weapon button in Loadout.

How many Regions are Currently Available?

There are 29 regions in the regular game, 11 regions in the Hunt With Dogs game, and 8 in the Spear Fishing game. In addition there are the 3 Historical Hunts available.

How do you Play the Competitive Target Shooting Event?

In order to qualify for participation in the regularly-occurring Competitive Target Shooting events, you must have completed region two, and have completed your first trophy hunt.

Why did I Fail the Mission?

If you hit all the targets with the correct type of shots yet failed the mission it is because you also hit a different animal than is called for in the mission objectives.

How do I get to the Next Region in Hunting with Dogs Mode?

When you kill the correct prey several times you will earn a star. In each region there are up to 20 stars that can be earned. Collect enough stars to unlock the next region. Keep in mind, that stars are additive: for the third region you may collect stars both from first and second regions and so forth.

What are Historical Hunts?

This is a game mode where you hunt wildlife in historical locations of the American Frontier through different time periods. There are six different types and they start with frontiersman James cole from the 1700's. In Historical Hunts mode you will be using historical weapons such as Long Rifles and Flintlock Pistols.

What are Golden Eagles?

This is a currency that is only used in Historical Hunts mode and they are earned when you successfully complete hunts. Golden Eagles can be spent on weapon purchases, weapon upgrades, and dog promotions.

What do the Suit Upgrades in Spearfishing Mode do?

Each of the upgrades is explained below:

Mobility

This increases your swim speed to the left and right.

Warmth

This corresponds to how fast the suit restores heat.

Insulation

This indicates the suit's heat limit.

Dive Speed

It is important that you keep an eye on this as you start losing oxygen right after submerging, while moving to the bottom.

Catch Limit

This indicates how many fish you can take back to surface.

Breath

This indicates the time you can spend underwater in that suit.
