Red Mages are versatile, with the ability to act as a back up healer using White Magic up to LV4 or as a back up offensive spellcaster with their ability to learn up to LV4 Black Magic. They can also wield most weapons fairly well. Red Mages also have the very useful support abilities that will allow them to earn BP even when not Defaulting.
