Resources

Wood:
Wood can be collected from cutting down trees. Simply click on a tree to begin chopping. This takes 1 Energy per piece of Wood collected.

Stone:
Stone can be collected from quarrying rocks. Simply click on a stone to begin quarrying. This takes 1 Energy per piece of Stone collected.

Ore:
Ore is gathered from Mining Camps.

There are many other resources too, but the three above are the main ones for building and making your way through the game.

Tip: You should build your Mining Camps and Lumber Mills as close as possible to the resources in question. The closer to the resource, the more quickly you will be able to collect from them each time. Bear in mind that you can move any item in your kingdom using the Move Tool, to make things more efficient.

Animals:
Animals form an important part of the infrastructure in CastleVille. They come in handy for crafting and cooking in particular. The table below shows you how much money is required to purchase the animal and for it to mature, as well as the resources and rewards that they can provide you with.

Chicken: Level 2, Takes    10 Minutes to feed,    6 Feeds to become a Youth, 6 more Feeds to become an Adult,    Total of 2 Hours to Adulthood, Costs 250 Coins, Gives Eggs and Chicken Meat.
Cow: Level 3, Takes 30 Minutes to feed,    8 Feeds to become a Youth, 8 more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of 8 Hours to Adulthood, Costs 750 Coins, Gives Milk and Cow Hide.   
Sheep: Level 7, Takes 1 Hour to feed, 8 Feeds to become a Youth, 8 more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of  16 Hours to Adulthood, Costs 1000 Coins, Gives Wool.
Peacock: Level 11, Takes 2 Hours to feed,  8 Feeds to become a Youth, 8    more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of 1 Day and 8 hours to Adulthood, Costs 1500 Coins, Gives Red Feather and Blue Feather
Goose: Level 15, Takes 6 Hours to feed,  14 Feeds to be come a Youth, 14 more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of 7 Days to Adulthood, Costs 2500 Coins, Gives Down Feather.       
Pig: Level 19, Takes 3 Hours to feed, 14 Feeds to become a Youth, 14 more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of 3.5 Days to Adulthood, Gives Meat.       
Mink: Level 23, Takes 12 Hours to feed, 12 Feeds to become a Youth, 12 more Feeds to become an Adult, Total of 12 Days to Adulthood, Costs 3000 Coins, Gives Mink Oil.
