Searching for Sisters (Florem Gardens)

Enter the Armory and the clerk will ask you a favor to search for two sisters in the gardens to the west of the city. Your party should be at least LV25 before trying this. Leave the city and travel west. After crossing the bridge, head north away from the main trail and keep heading to the northwest until a scene is triggered. You’ll have to fight six Alraunes. Their weakness is fire so just burn them and proceed. Once done, continue to the northwest and enter the cavern there.

Florem Gardens

Once inside, you’ll find the sisters again. You have to avoid the patch of purple flowers here since they’ll inflict silence to the whole team. Deliberately step into one and a new party chat will become available. (A Spore Loser) Get the Hi-Potion from the chest in the middle and 500pg in the northeastern chest. Make your way to the southwest corner to find another chest containing an X-Potion. Head to the northwest to exit to the next area. Take the left path of the split.

Florem Gardens - Central

Continue forth and you’ll find two chests along the way containing an Ether and 1000pg. Continue to the right then go to the southeast to find another chest that contains a Tomahawk. There’s also one of those locked blue chests in the middle-north as well.

Florem Gardens – Interior

There’s a chest to the southwest containing a Remedy. The chest in the middle contains a Turbo Ether and the chest to the southeast has a Tengu Yawn. Continue forth and prepare for a boss battle. Save your game and proceed to the next screen.

Boss: Mephilia

HP: 9999, Weakness: None, FAM: Human

This boss can cause heavy earth-type damage to the party by using Girtabrulu. Keep everyone healed to avoid being caught off guard. She will also summon Legion Archers and Impalers. Use thunder against these enemies. Make sure to take out the archer first since she can use Confuse Arrow. Don’t hesitate to use your Special Moves. It will really help that you modify your Specials and instill elemental weaknesses on bosses like Mephilia who don’t have any. As long as your level is fairly high, along with good equipment, you should be able to endure her powerful summoning offensive magic.

After the battle, you’ll get the Summoner Asterisk. You’ll be back in town after the scenes. Another party chat will become available as well. (Overpriced Love)
