Function

Smoke Screens are perfect for guaranteeing that the units within its radius will not come to any harm. You can use them in conjunction with flares to direct your units straight to the enemy HQ - if it's not defended properly, this is a great way for an easy victory.

Tips and Tactics

By far the best tactic for deploying the Smoke Screen is to use it to send your own troops around the back of the enemy defenses. In conjunction with flares, to tell them where to target, you can get them into any holes in the enemy defense with ease.

They are cheap to use, so if you are lacking in Energy for your Gunboats, consider using these to protect your units from the Heavy defensive structures rather than spending Energy on damage them with Artillery. 

Bear in mind that you cannot attack while inside a Smoke Screen, so think about your tactics carefully before deploying them, otherwise it will just be a waste of Energy!
