To build a structure, select it from the Building menu. You can then place it anywhere in your yard. Once you do this, there will be a certain amount of time before it is completed and can begin functioning as desired. You can see this time by clicking on the building. This also allows you to Speed Up the build time. Click the 'Speed Up' time to do this.

Speed Up:

To Speed Up a building or upgrade that is in progress, simply click on it and select 'Speed Up'. You will then be given the following options:

Close Enough:
This allows you to complete the building or upgrade completely free of charge. You must be within 5 minutes of completion to facilitate this.

Reduce by 1 Hour:
You can pay 20 Coins to reduce the time remaining by 1 hour.

Reduce by 2 Hours:
You can pay 40 Coins to reduce the time remaining by 2 hours.

Finish Now:
This depends on the time remaining, but essentially you can pay a number of Coins to complete the building or upgrade instantly.
