SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom PlayStation 2 Cheats and Tips

During the 4th stage in arcade mode you will have a predetermined fight against a mid-boss , the choice of the mid-boss is one out of 6 different characters , here are the conditions to determine which mid-boss that will appear (the conditions are shared between each pair of the 6 and you will face either one of them randomly)

Mars people / Zero : Have at least 2 Exceed move finishes

Dimitri maximov / Geese Howard : Have at least 1 Exceed move finish

Goenitz / Dan hibiki : Fail to meet any of the above conditions..

The sub and final bosses of the game would either be Violent ken followed by Shin Akuma (representing Capcom) or Orochi Iori followed by Serious Mr Karate (representing SNK)

Deciding which boss duo will appear depends on the last regular oppoent (6th stage) and which side they belong to , in a contradictory fashion if the 6th opponent is an SNK character then the capcom duo will appear otherwise if it's a Capcom character then the SNK duo will appear..

This game's arcade mode follows a good/bad ending pattern , depending on which final boss you defeat you will either get the bad ending in the form of a scripted text coupled with tragic/dark soundtrack (describing your character's fate , so to speak) or you will get the good ending which translates to your character's actual ending

In order to get the good ending you must successfully reach the "true" final boss , that being either Goddess Athena or Rer Arremer right after defeating the default final boss (Shin Akuma or Serious Mr karate) each one have their own conditions to follow , here they are :

Reaching Red Arremer :

Defeat at least 1 opponent via block damage (final hit on a guarding opponent with 0.5 life remeaining)

Have at least 5 Super or Exceed move finishes throughout the entire game

Reaching Athena

Fight your all your way to the default final boss with unbroken 2-0 record (losing to Shin Akuma or Serious Mr karate is permitted)

Never win a single round via block damage

Defeat the final boss with a super or exceed move

Once all these conditions are done then you will see a cutscene of your character being engulfed in light column and transported to either heaven (athena) or hell (arremer)

Note :Be careful cause you only have 1 chance to face and defeat the true final boss , if you fail you will be unable to continue and get the bad ending instead..
