The 6th of 8 badges...
Where do you get the 6th badge in FireRed? Do I need to surf? Give as much detail in the sobject in your answer please.

The 6th badge is in Saffron City. To get to Saffron City, get the Tea from an old lady in a tower at Celadon City. Then you could go pass the Guard, but Team Rocket is there. Also there's a rocket Grunt infront of the gym. So I would skip the 6th gym and go on to...The 7th gym which is in Cinnabar Island. Get the Key inside a mansion to unlock the gym. Defeat the gym leader, but you have to go through by answering his questions. If you get it wrong, then you must battle a trainer. If you get it right, then you can move onto the next. Go back to Saffron City. Defeat Team Rocket in Silph Co. Go and defeat the 6th gym leader. Go to the 8th Gym which is in Viridian City. Giovanni is the Gym Leader there. Warning! The trainers in there are tough.

From where we woulg get the fifth badgecheating-is-good answered:
You get the sixth gym leader from the Lovely Sabrina, the psychic user in Saffron City. No, you do not have to Surf anywhere. All you have to do is go to the top floor of the Department store in Celadon City, and buy a drink from the vending machine. Then go to any entrance that leads to Saffron City, and give the drink to the guard, he will let you in.

You need to go to the house that have a door in P.C line ( Celadon City ). Then ask the old lady to get tea. Pass the guard, and guard Will talk to you. Your character Will give the guard the tea.xmenevolution answered:
It's in Saffron City. You'll need the Tea from the lady in Celadon Mansion. Give the tea to the guard and he'll let you through. No need of any of the HM moves.
