The Able Sisters' Store

Mable and Sable run the town's clothing shop. It is open from 8AM to 11PM. Conversing with Sable for some consecutive days adds camaraderie to her so keep that in mind. You can purchase and sell off clothes and clothing-related goods here. The products change everyday and come by according to a set group which is determined by your town assginment at the start of the game. Items are categorized as 'Clothing' and some of them are seasonal just like other items.

You are also given the chance to create your own designs or 'Textures'. There are 8 designs to choose from at a given time. If you would like, you can freely try a design displayed, promote and display your own creations or even trade designs, just make sure you leave your gates open so you can design patterns.

Creating Designs

The Design Pallet shows up after you have given Mabel 350 bells. Mainly used to create your own designs, this feature is more like a basic simplified version of MS Paint, it is very simple and self-explanatory.

Your designs can be printed on almost anything. Clothing, shirts, etc. are the main items you will use the designs for. The Able Sisters' sell hat accessories and patterns so take note of that. As a painting, your patterns can be used as a display for your house, like for doormats. Carpet use is another function of designs, and it is advisable that you create your own patterns for this procedure. For umbrella use, some designs work better than others, as some of them does not get wet or worn out by rainfall.
