One of the most important aspects of ensuring your base is well-defended, is to look at where enemies can spawn in the area around your base. This is shown by a white outline when you move and place a building. You need to make sure there aren't any gaping holes in your defences, but leaving a few spaces for enemies to spawn does have advantages - for example, you can funnel them in a certain direction if you allow just one or two spots for them to spawn in.
You can use Walls and any non-essential buildings, such as Builders' Huts, to plug the holes and force enemies to spawn further from the center of your base. The advantages to this are that they will take longer to reach your important buildings, giving more time for your defensive weaponry, like Cannons and Mortars, to work their magic.
If the no-spawn zone is right outside your Walls, or a few squares from your Town Hall, the enemy will be able to spawn a horde of units right next to it and charge through to at least a 1-star victory before your Cannons have been able to fire more than a few shots.

whats the point in building walls and defense if they can jump over and appear inside your walls thats bs
So basically your opponent can only spawn troops outside the white area so where there is white they can't spawn troops there

What is the white line around the Clan Castle??

DOES NOT HELP HAVE TO BE A NOOB TO LISTEN TO THAT
Outside
So do the enemies spawn inside the white line or outside the white line?
What happens if I put enough structures so that there are no spawn points on my map?
Thank you for this advice it really helps
You could put a mortor just within range of the spawn hole so when they spawn
their entire army there they are all killed in just a few shots. It is hilarious watchin'
someone deploying there whole army and the army killed in less than 30 seconds.
It is because you at least a 3x3 area inside your walls that is giving the attacker 1 open square to put their army into. This happened to me and I spent a few days trying to figure out what was going on. Try not to have very much open space inside your walls
How do some attackers spawn their troops inside my walls?
