Trophies

You can see your trophy count by looking just below your level indicator, on the left-hand side of the screen.

The idea behind Trophies is to give players something to aim at while gaming on Clash of Clans. They are used as an identifier of your skill as a gamer, and also are used to match you up with a similarly-skilled or experienced opponent when playing in multiplayer.

Trophies are earned by winning battles in multiplayer, and for successfully fending off attacks. You will lose trophies if you fail in an attack or are attacked with heavy losses by an enemy. The goal when attacking an opponent is to do over 50% damage to them - this will earn you trophies. If you fail to reach this milestone, you will lose trophies. The amount you get or lose depends on the number you and your opponent had to begin with.
