Ubisoft's UPlay Network

When Assassin's Creed II was released in 2009 gamers had already been informed that a new play-based add-ons service was being deployed with it -- to be called the Uplay Network -- which could be activated either in the game or via its own website. 

The new Network was created to allow players to connect with other gamers, and to earn rewards based upon achievements that are built into the Uplay-enabled games.  Each in-game Uplay-linked achievement earns a set number of points that can be banked by the players so that, should they not want rewards available for the game that they earned them in, they can use them to purchase rewards from other games, which allows members of the Uplay Network to unlock game rewards quickly and easily.

In Assassin's Creed: Revelations the following Uplay Rewards are available to players:

-- AC Revelations Theme (10 Points) Adds an ACR Theme to your system.

-- Solo Pack (20 Points) Adds 3 Brotherhood Weapons and awards a Medicine Capacity Upgrade.

-- Mediterranean Exclusive Missions (30 Points) Unlocks a new mission for each city in the Mediterranean Defense meta-game.

-- Multiplayer Pack (40 Points) Unlocks the Knight character for use in your Templar Profile.
