The BP Recovery support skill (Red Mage JLV9) will be your golden asset in this battle. As a precaution, it will be a good idea to wear Rebuff Lockets in this battle to prevent DeRosa from charming your characters using his Captivating Colonge. Khint will use a new sword magic – sleep. Lord DeRosso in the other hand can use Toxic Whirl that will deal damage and poison your entire party. He can also inflict sleep using Lullaby and Paralyze as well. Khint in the other hand can use Sword Magic: Poison and Sleep. |
Your healer may need to alternately cast Esunaga and Curaga to keep your party alive and kicking while being pummeled by various status ailments. The Salve-Maker’s Inoculate and Spiritmaster’s Fairy Ward works wonders here as well. Basically, as long as you’re immune against charm, you can use the other status effects to earn extra BP for additional moves. |
Target Olivia first to prevent her from inflicting Corpse (Doom) to one of your party members. Besides, she has the lowest HP in the group. Next, you have to take out Lord DeRosso since his Battle Thirst and multi-target status effect moves can cause problems in the long run. Once those two priority targets are gone, you can either take out Khint or DeRosa. DeRosa can cause charm and dread. He can also restore a decent amount of HP through Curada. |
Finally, make your way to the top of the Council Room to find the last batch of enemies you’ll have to defeat.
