In Deer Hunter 2017 the most important targets are the Trophy Animals, these are also the hardest animals to kill as they can only be taken down using heart shots. This can be made easier using Infrared as it allows you to see the location of the animals heart. However, when you attempt a Trophy Hunt you will not be able to use Dogs to help you.
