What Gift Pokemon Are There

As in all Mainstream Pokemon Games, you will obtain what are known as Gift Pokemon during your journey in Pokemon FireRed. As the name implies, these are Free Pokemon you will obtain for nothing in return. Unlike later Mainstream Pokemon Games, the Gift Pokemon available are some of the best Pokemon a player can have, most of which aren't available in the Wild otherwise. In total, there are seven different Gift Pokemon a player can obtain.

Available Gift Pokemon

Bulbasaur/Charmander/Squirtle: The first available Gift Pokemon is none other than your Starter Pokemon. You will have the choice between Bulbasaur, Charmander or Squirtle, each will be received at Level 5.

Omanyte/Kabuto: At the end of Mt. Moon, you will battle one final trainer in order to obtain a Pokemon Fossil. Later on Cinnabar Island, you can revive the fossil at the lab located there. If you chose the Helix Fossil, it will be revived into Omanyte. If you chose the Dome Fossil, it will revive into Kabuto. Each will come at Level 30.

Aerodactyl: In the Pewter City Museum (HM Cut Entrance), you will find a scientist that will give you the Old Amber. Later on Cinnabar Island, you can revive the fossil at the lab located there. it will be revived into Aerodactyl, and it will come at Level 30.

Eevee: At the top of the Celadon Mansion (HM Cut Entrance), there will be a room with a Poke Ball inside. Within this Poke Ball is an Eevee for you, being at Level 25.

Lapras: Directly before reaching Giovanni in the Silph Co. Building, you will find a room with a trainer inside that will give you a Lapras. It will come at Level 25.

Hitmonlee/Hitmonchan: Within Saffron City is the Fighting Dojo. After removing Team Rocket from the Silph Co. Building, you will earn access to the Dojo. Defeat all the trainers within to receive your choice at either Hitmonlee or Hitmonchan. Both will be at Level 25.

Togepi: If you have less than six Pokemon in your Pokemon Team, there is an elderly man within the Water Labyrinth that will give you a Pokemon Egg. It will hatch into a Togepi, and like all Pokemon Eggs, it will hatch at Level 5.
