After getting shot down, you’ll respawn and be able to join the battle after a few seconds. However, getting shot down more often will prolong the time it will take for you to respawn. This robs you the opportunity to score or help your allies.

There’s an upgrade part that reduces the time it takes for you to respawn but I suggest equipping other weapon or body upgrade part that will further improve your offensive and defensive capabilities instead.
