Ice Beam, Rest, Body Slam and Calm Mind.
The best move set would be:
Selfdestruct(Explosion(you can teach it those moves)) or Hyper Beam
Shadow Ball
Earthquake
Protect or Psychic
Item: Leichi Berry or Leftovers
Prefferred Nature: Adamant
A good move set for snorlax would be Ice Beam, Rest, Body Slam and Calm Mind.
Ice Beam, Rest, Body Slam and hyper beam. Trust me I know by Experience
I have
Headbutt
Brick break
Earthquake
Body slam
Works for me
I would have body slam, hyper beam, yawn, and rest. If I were you I would only have physical attacks because snorlax has a lot of attack not special attack
I think it is:
Headbutt
Hyper Beam
Ice Beam
And Calm Mind or psychic, if you are using a team like this: Blastoise, Vileplume. Flareon, Raichu, Fearow and Snorlax (In this team, you can switch Snorlax for Golem or Nidoqueen, if you change Vileplume for exeggutor or Primeape
BODY Slam
Rest
Snore
Giga Impact
If you use rest you will fully heal your Snorlax and use snore to make damage while sleeping. This is the strategy that I use to fight the Elite Four and he Pokémon Champion.
I would recommend you to use
1. Hyper beam
2. Shadow ball
3. Psychic
4. Ice beam / Blizzard / Earthquake ( ice beam and blizzard for dragon type Pokemon trainer especially Lance , the Dragon master
. Recommended ice beam)
Hyper beam /body slam
Brick break/focus punch
Rest,sleep talk/calm mind,psychic
Body Slam
Rest
Rock Tomb
Earthquake
Item:
Chesto berry
Or
Leftovers
Body Slam good stab and both rock Tomb and Earthquake physical and useful for Elite Four
Defense curl
Rollout
Belly drum
Double edge or body slam or hyper beam.( I use body slam )
Holding = Leftovers
Max out the attack to start the battle with belly drum. Max potion. Defense Curl atleast 1 time but I prefer 2 to double your low defense stat. Rollout now has double power up to 960 on the 5th turn to go along with your now 1500 attack stat.
Your welcome.
Body Slam, Rest, Snore, Yawn. Reduce a huge portion of your opponents health with Snorlax’s OP Body slam (courtesy snorlax attack stats) while they dream away after your Yawn. If on low health, just take a Rest - but dw about not being able to attack during this, let snore do it's job. Enjoy.
It's a little tricky given that Snorlax is an exceptionally powerful Normal type and thus can learn various moves. It's attack and special attack stats are considerably higher than it's defense and special defense, and it is rather slow. I'll recommend a more "proper" moveset, then a more interesting moveset.
Standard moveset:
- Body Slam/Strength (STAB, body slam has a bit more power, but strength is a HM so it'll be convenient to have it)
- Shadow Ball (covers up for fighting type weakness, as well as ghost)
- Brick Break/Focus Punch (focus punch is a bit more risky since it takes a turn to charge but it has more power than brick break. This fighting type move covers a broader scope of types ie. Rock, steel, ice, dark, normal.)
The final move depends. If you want Snorlax as more of a HM slave, give it Surf. It has high power and brings more diversity. If you want Snorlax to cover up your Indigo League weaknesses (eg. Lance) then you may want to consider ice-type moves such as Ice Beam and Blizzard. However, these moves are special moves and not physical.
Fun moveset (not really recommended, but more defensive and can be fun):
- Yawn
- Rest
- Snore
- Any move of your choice (eg. Flamethrower, ice beam/blizzard, thunderbolt etc) OR if you really want to risk it, belly drum.
This moveset may NOT always work, especially on Pokemon with insomnia. Hence the need for an offensive fourth move. Basically you use yawn to put your opponent to sleep two turns later. In the first two turns, you either use belly drum first and then sort of lose a turn (which isn't very good) or use your fourth move twice. When the opponent is asleep and you sustain damage, go to rest. Use snore. Keep repeating this strategy (if you can even call it that) LoL
Rest
Body slam
Shadow ball/ Ice beam
Hidden power
Se preferir trocar hidden power por sleep talk tanto faz
