What is the best way to get no hitter guards keep running away!
Equip hidden blade and sprint after them. You should be faster then most of them so quickly press attack button and finish it. Sword is the hardest to use for that purpose so don't try it. You could also hire mercenaries and kill the guards fighting them with a backstab. Or you could climb of rooftops and use throwing knifes and bullets on patrolling guards. They can climb up and throw stones so keep moving if you do so.
