Ymir (Jaw Titan)

Ymir was a character in the manga and anime series Attack on Titan. She was a graduate of the 104th Training Corps and former member of the Survey Corps. Ymir was abandoned at an early age on the streets of Marley and was found by a man who gave her the name Ymir after the ancestor Ymir Fritz, and brought her into a group dedicated to the illegal practice of worshiping Ymir. After being discovered by the Public Security Authorities, Ymir was taken to the borderline of Paradis Island and forcibly turned into a Pure Titan, where she then spent 60 years wandering outside Wall Maria with little awareness or memory. Ymir had the ability to transform into the Jaw Titan, and had knowledge about the true nature of Titans and the history of the world outside the Walls. Ymir had a selfish, cynical, uncooperative, and confrontational personality.

In human form, Ymir was a tall slender young woman with long black hair kept in a ponytail. She has intimidating gray eyes and freckles on her cheeks. She would normally wear the military uniform of her faction. After consuming Marcel, Ymir obtained the power of the Jaw Titan. Unlike the Female Titan, her Titan form possessed no distinctly feminine features. Like other holders of the Jaw Titan, Ymir's Titan form was considerably smaller than most Titans, standing at 5 m.
