Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is a first-person shooter video game that is the fourth expansion for Destiny 2. In this expansion you return to the Moon to investigate reports of something 'old' appearing there that is attracting the Hive. Destiny 2: Shadowkeep features new missions, new Player versus Environment (PvE) locations, Player versus Player (PvP) maps, weapons, armour, exotic gear, and a new raid. Check out our Walkthrough, Guide, Strategy page to get help in the game
Obsolete Gear
There is no point keeping any weapons or equipment as Shadowkeep raises all your existing gear to level 750 by default making it obsolete. This means you will need to empty your inventory - either by deconstructing your stuff, or if you are feeling sentimental placing it in the bank.
Unlimited Bounties
In the Shadowkeep expansion you are now able to claim an unlimited number of bounties every day. Bounties cost Glimmer, the basic in-game currency of Destiny and provide XP and Bright Dust. Unlike similar games you will not be able to choose between a random assortment when you purchase bounties from a NPC, they are 100 percent random. If what you recieve is not what you want you can always discard it and purchase another bounty.
Complete Public Events
A Public Event in Destiny 2 is a temporary event that allows random players in public spaces to work together to complete a specific objective and earn experience and loot. They are easy and don't take long to complete and can provide impressive rewards - including Exotic Engrams. In order to get the best stuff you need to complete unlisted side objectives during the Public Event to make them 'Heroic' Public Events.
Get the Ritual Weapons
Complete the missions to obtain the three Ritual Weapons, although these novelty guns are not the best weapons in the game they are nice to own. Anyone can get the Ritual Weapons, you just need to speak with Shaxx, Zavala, and the Drifter to acquire the three respective Ritual Weapon quests.
Ikora Rey Bounties
Ikora Rey is the Vanguard for the Warlock class and unlike in previous Destiny games she now has bounties like the rest of the major Tower NPCs. Make sure you speak with her - instead of just running past her to pick up Clan Bounties from Hawthorn.
Finding Essences
The Essences to build weapons come from different locations, but most are randomly found on the Moon by opening chests and defeating bosses on the lunar surface. Each new Essence you get requires a weapon part. You only need to find each once, but some of them can be tricky to find.
Check out our Ritual Weapons Guide to find out how to get these novelty guns.
