Rare Candy Cheat
To level up your Pokemon quickly you can use Rare Candies, one will take a Pokemon up a single level.
If you would like to get unlimited Rare Candies then you just head to a Pokemon Center in the game. When you are then, select the cheats option in the your emulator and select the option add a CodeBreaker code or if you don't have that, add the cheats as a GameShark code.

Then, while in a Pokemon center activate the cheat, if that is a necessary step in your emulator and head to a PC in the Pokemon Center and access Ash's PC you should now be able to withdraw an unlimited about of rare candies. Disable your cheat when you are done with it.

How to Enter GameShark Codes
It will depend on what emulator you are using. If you are using Visual Boy Advance (VBA) or the Delta, then there is a cheats option from the menu. Select that, and then copy and paste the Pokemon Fire Red cheats that you want to us in the appropriate section. It's best that you leave the codes deactivated until you want to use them, and when you do use them just use them one at a time. If you use too many cheats at once, it's likely your game will stop working and you may have to start over, or at least from your last save location before you activated cheats. Feel free to drop us a comment on this page, or the page with the actual cheat if you are having trouble.
That being said, it's probably a good idea to save your game just before you activate any cheat code.
